Jeffrey Alan Smith is the Director of Marketing for Implant Pathway, along with several other of Dr. Moody’s business ventures and practices. He serves not only as the Director of Marketing, responsible for the creative direction, advertising and content production for Implant Pathway, but also as the sole Graphic Designer and Web Developer.
Jeff began working for Dr. Moody in December 2015 as his Director of Business Development. As our various businesses began to take shape and evolve, so did Jeff’s role in the company, meriting a re-branding of his position. Jeff was fairly new to the dental world when he came onboard, but has quickly caught onto the business thanks to Dr. Moody and his colleagues.
In December 2009, Jeff graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in both Theatre Arts and Graphic Design. Throughout college (and still going!), Jeff works as a freelance graphic designer for various organizations, professionals and businesses around the country.
Aside from Graphic Design, Jeff’s other passion is theatre. Since high school, Jeff has served as an actor, director, sound designer, set designer and propsmaster for countless theatrical productions. Jeff has acted in or directed over 50 plays and musicals since 2003.
Jeff is also responsible for the audio production for the numerous podcasts we produce in-house, such as Dentists, Implants and Worms, Humans of Rapid City, AAID Podcast, ICOI Podcast, The Raving Patients Podcast and Stop the Earth. He can be heard as a co-host of Dentists, Implants and Worms and is currently the host of Humans of Rapid City.
Also, one thing you will definitely note about Jeff is his intense enthusiasm for cats. He has two cats of his own, Athena and Puck (see his Instagram for pics).
